Currently, CEE has 851 students in total, including 447 undergraduate students, 404 graduate students, and 23 overseas students. There are also 9 post-doctoral researchers in the college.

Graduate students are major in Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management and Marine Affairs.

Objectives of Graduate Programs

1. Environmental Science and Engineering

Program Objective: Students in this program are required to master fundamental knowledge and basic skills of Environmental Science and Engineering, and familiar with the advanced experimental techniques and research methods in related fields. Furthermore, the students should be able to use a foreign language well, with the ability to publish papers in scientific journals. The program aims to train students that could carry out reasonable experiment independently with strong ability in analyzing and solving problems. At the same time, strong research capability and creative scientific thinking are also required. The program will train talents that could serve at their chosen institutes for research and development, teaching and/or administrations. 

2. Ecology

Program Objective: Students in this program are required to master solid fundamental knowledge and research methods of Environmental Science and Engineering, or Planning and Design in Ecological Engineering, and familiar with developing dynamics in Ecology. The program aims to train students who could conduct ecological researches independently with strong ability in analyzing and solving problems. The graduates should master certain basic theory and professional knowledge of Ecology, and be able to use a foreign language well. The doctoral students are required to master basic theory and systematic in-depth expertise of Ecology, having ability in conducting scientific researches and technology innovations creatively and independently. The ability to conduct international academic exchanges is also required. The master students are required to have some practical knowledge and hands-on experiences of ecology, and be prepared for industrial or governmental job opportunities.
